Kyzart is a small village on the north shore of Son-Kul Lake. It is where many Son-Kul horse tours begin. Ryskul has lived in Kyzart all his life with his wife, daughter, and parents. He began working as a horse guide at the age of 9, and he now owns his own stable with 12 horses.
They partner with us on our tours, but you can also book separate rides with their guides on specific dates. While they specialize in the 2- to 3-day tours starting and ending in Kyzart (which you can view on our website), they also run longer 6-day tours designed for experienced riders.
You will ride with his guides; they are incredible horsemen who are currently learning English. After being picked up from Bishkek and arriving in Kyzart, you will ride 4 to 6 hours each day along the entirety of one side of the lake. You will experience yurt stays, long trail rides, swimming in the lake with the horses, and a final return transfer to Bishkek.
