All of the accommodation arrangements are covered in the tour fee. In the majority of places we will be staying in either in villas, guesthouses or in traditional Kyrgyz yurts.
Bishkek Villa
For the first two days we will stay in a massive villa with a pool on the edge of Bishkek close to the mountains. It has lots of space, kitchen, living room, dining room, bar, BBQ and more. It is a very comfortable accomodation where everyone can get to know each other.
Sauna Day 2
After a long day of hiking I will hire out a two storey spa just for us. It will include sauna, turkish hamam, cold plunge, pool, dining area and snooker table. I will hire some chefs and prepare the area for us with a massive feast so we can eat and relax after a long day
Yurts
We will stay in yurts at specifically set up yurt camps in Son-Kul and Beltam (South Shore of Issyk-Kul). A yurt is a traditional dwelling for nomadic people. They usually house four or five beds. We will split the yurts according to gender to make for more comfortable sleeping arrangements.
Guesthouses
The rest of the places we will stay in gueshouses where we will have several rooms between two or three beds per room. We will again split the rooms as comfortably as we can with everyone.
All guesthouses and yurt camps will have showers, bathrooms and laundries. However, it is important for everyone to note that the locations we visit are extrememly beautiful, but they are very remote.
Son-Kul, Altyn-Arashan and Kol-Tor are extremely high in the mountains. We will have no connection and no electricity mainlines. These locations usually generate electricity with solar panels or diesel generators. Our accomodation arangements will not be hotel level, but more of a "Glamping" experience.
Villa Issyk-Kul
On day 9 just before the end of the tour and after a long journey we will stay on the north shore of Issyk-Kul in large villa next to the beach. It will be an opportunity to decompress, swim in the lake and relax before taking your flights home
